Wild Cards (wildcardsdeck.com) is run by Wild Cards in Canada. This page says what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions: hello@wildcardsdeck.com.

What we collect

• Your email, if you give it to us. When you sign up for the daily card or the boxed-deck waitlist, we keep your email, the date and time, the page you signed up on and the exact words you agreed to. That is our record of your consent.
• Your purchase, if you buy. Stripe takes your payment. We receive your email, the amount, the date and a payment reference, so we can unlock the app for you on any device. We never see or store your card details.
• Your journal, if you unlocked. Your journal entries are saved to your account so they follow you to a new device.
• Simple counts. We count visits, draws, sign-ups and purchases per day, and which of our videos sent people here. These counts hold no names, emails or IP addresses. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies.
• On your device. Your card of the day, your collection, your free game count and your journal are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one that keeps you signed in once you unlock, and one that remembers which video brought you here, so a sale can be matched to a video. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Who else handles your data

• Stripe: payments, as merchant of record (stripe.com/privacy).
• Kit: the daily card email and the waitlist.
• Resend: sign-in emails.
• Vercel and Upstash: hosting and our database.

Some of these services store data outside Canada, including in the United States.

Emails

We only send the daily card and news to people who ticked the box to ask for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we honour it straight away. Buyers also get emails about their purchase, such as sign-in links.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Email hello@wildcardsdeck.com from the address in question and we will reply within 30 days.

Children

Wild Cards is for a general audience. Buying requires a payment method, so purchases should be made by an adult.
