The game

Quick Draw

How to play

Ten cards each, ten rounds. You only ever see your top card.

The caller reads one stat from their top card: Power, Instinct or Resilience.
Everyone flips their top card. The highest number for that stat wins all the flipped cards.
The winner calls next.

Ties

The flipped cards go to a middle pile and the same caller calls again. The next winner takes the middle pile too.

Special cards

Underdog: when a 2 meets an Ace, King, Queen or Jack, the big card is toppled, whatever stat was called. The smallest can bring down the mightiest.
Jokers (wild): a Joker wins its round automatically, and two Jokers in one round count as a tie. In Classic, a won Joker goes to the bottom of the pile of the player with the fewest cards, so it keeps moving around the table.

Seasons

At the start, pick a suit at random. Every card of that element gets +10 on all three stats for the game: Hearts in a wet season, Clubs in a dry one.

Winning

Quick Draw (the default): deal 10 cards each. Cards you win go to your won pile. After 10 rounds, the most cards wins. If it is level, play sudden death: one card each from the deck, and the winner takes the game.
